True Blood, Season 5, Ep 4: We’ll Meet Again

Pam rescues Tara from the ultraviolet light of the tanning bed and proceeds to slap some sense into her for attempting suicide. Tara does not care, she just wants to die. Pam has to resort to issuing the command to her vampire child to never try suicide again and Tara screams her frustration. She’s stuck with her new “life”.

Lafayette cruelly tells Sookie that she’s the Angel of Death because she always leaves so many bodies behind. You can feel how crushed she is by his words. Sookie ends up running to Jason’s house telling him that she killed Debbie Pelt. Sookie is falling apart, she wants all the lying and deception to end.

Bill and Eric are dropped off in the middle of the woods, ready to start their search for Russell. They discuss that only four of them knew where Russell was buried – Bill, Eric, Pam and Sookie.

Pam and Tara arrive at Fantasia where they are greeted by Eric on his throne. Bill is there too. Eric has them leave while he interrogates Pam. Eric accuses Pam and he tries to force her to confess. Pam tells Eric to just release her as his vampire child if he trusts her so little. She demands that he say it but he doesn’t. Eric goes back to join Bill and the two of them start accusing each other.

Sookie ends up being overwhelmed by all the negative thoughts she is hearing from the patrons in Merlotte’s. Everyone blames her for Tara being turned into a vampire. The demon inside Lafayette keeps appearing and it takes its anger out on Sookie’s car, muttering curses and lifting it into the air.

Alcide goes to see Debbie’s parents in their hotel room. He wants to tell them about their daughter, they deserve to know the truth. He says Debbie is gone, she was killed by Marcus, the former pack master. Alcide tells them he killed Marcus in revenge for Debbie. Debbie’s parents are overcome with grief.

Later, when Sookie is driving home, her car won’t slow down and it appears that Lafayette’s spell is taking effect. She jumps out at the last minute right as the car smashes into a tree. After walking home, Sookie proceeds to drink her sorrows away. She’s drunk as a skunk listening to crappy eighties music when Lafayette calls. He’s found her wrecked car and he realizes he’s the one who caused it. At the same time, Alcide knocks on the door and the fun just keeps on coming for harassed Sookie…but it ends up being an okay day after all – Alcide tells her that he lied to the Pelts for her. He couldn’t let her go to jail.

The council watches Nora praying in her cell, laughing at her devotion to the vampire bible. Nora is ready to die the true death and she refuses to give up the mole in the Authority. The Guardian is sick of her defiance and he’s ready to trigger the stakes into Bill and Eric when Salome works her magic on her former protégé and Nora gives up the name – it’s the child vampire who sits on the Council. The Guardian pulls out a dagger and turns him into vampire mush.

The judge whose son had the ticket that Andy erased comes into the station and invites both Andy and Jason out for a hot night on the town. He picks Andy and Jason up in a limo with hot ladies in the back. The working girls put bags over their heads to heighten the excitement and they are on their way to a mysterious club for the time of their life. Or are they? Because next thing you see is the three of them in a field – still wearing hoods – when one of the women opens an invisible door and they are inside an amazing club with men and women in little to no clothing dancing and gyrating all over the place.

Patrick and Terry are driving in South Dakota when Terry has a flashback to Iraq where a member of his squad is fired upon by hostile citizens. After the firefight, they ended up killing lots and lots of innocent civilians.

Terry and Patrick are at their army buddy’s place when Terry finds a false floor. Going down into it, they find the typical psychopath wall of pain covered in drawings, paintings, and images of fire. That’s when the guy they are hunting cocks a gun behind them and they turn to face him.

Pam wakes up Tara, offering her a bite of a donor girl’s neck. Pam commands her to bite her and Tara rips into the girl’s throat. Pam tells her that no human can hurt her now, humans are for savoring. Hmm, perhaps Pam really is helping Russell? That sounds like some Sanguanista speech to me.

Sookie pushes a drink on Alcide then she leans in and starts kissing him. Bill and Eric are standing in the front yard outside Sookie’s house, looking at them kiss through the window. I don’t think these two are going to go easy on her when it’s Sookie’s turn to be interrogated about Russell’s resurrection.
