Author: Rhiannon Frater

Genre: Vampire Romance

If you are one of those that love the old fashion period romances, you will love the feel of this book. It takes the concept in so many of those period romances and turns it right on its head! We begin with Lady Glynis Wright, a typical feisty gal who only wants to have the chance to marry for love, and instead is being told that she is going to have to learn to live with an arranged marriage. But then the story takes a severe right turn as Glynis and her parents find themselves suddenly, and quite accidentally, the guests of a man who is not a man at all, because he is a vampire, and the most fearsome and powerful one of all time.

Soon Glynis finds herself trapped in a strange and frightening situation – the servant of a creature she abhors, and soon finds she has been turned into the very being she hates. This is a dark tale, more in line with the early Anne Rice books than the recent crop of vampire tales. A mature writing style with plenty of the gothic touches that make modern vampire tales so delicious. The Tale of the Vampire Bride will have you clutching your book with white knuckles and turning each page in the dead of the night, spellbound.

Words can not describe how much I love this book. But here is my attempt to try and explain my love. I found this book on my iBooks app bored one day trying to find something interesting to read. Needless to say, I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. My eyes were glued to my phone. People probably assumed I was some crazy phone addict playing Angry Birds or something but seriously I was just..so impressed. I love Glynis’s character and how much depth is put into every character. I love Rhiannon’s character of Count Dracula. I love that he is so..evil. He is the perfect monster. He is gorgeous, wicked, he’s cruel, and it’s even worst when he seems as though he cares because you hate him so much. It’s insane how Dracula can be loved and hated. Glynis is so refreshing. She is such a strong character and continues to grow through out the book. I love how she is strong and not the normal meek woman. If you are looking for a new, thrilling, sexy, adventure of a real woman then this is your book.
