I'm so happy you reveiwed this book. I am an avid fan of Jeaniene Frost, especially the Cat and Bones series. While it is difficult to pick a favorite from the first four books, I have to say Destined for an Early Grave is #1 with me.

As with any relationship where both parties have strong personalities, this one rides a rollar coaster touching both happy and sad. As much as any book I have ever read, the sad parts are so painful as to cause me to skip them during rereads. But, the contrast with the happy, of course balances that to a satisfying degree.

I challange anyone to read this series and not fall under the spell of these characters. They are that engrossing. I have long since been a willing captive.
