I've trying to find some more adult vampire novels to read. I've continually checked on websites and what authors recommend, but I've only come across books: that I can't get hold of; ones that I've already read; or ones that I'm just not plain interested in. I'm really struggling at the moment.

I've read and enjoyed works from Charlaine Harris, Karen Chance, J R Ward, Kresley Cole, Laurell K Hamilton, Keri Arthur, Susan Sizemore, MaryJanice Davidson, Amanda Ashley, Sherrilyn Kenyon, D D. Barant, (I would like to try more books similar to her style. I found her novels original, exciting and inventive.) Lynsay Sands etc.
I'm aware of all the other authors listed above but I primarily read my books out from the library. I only buy the books unless I'm intrigued and really like the sound of it, or if it was recommended to me personally.

As you can tell, I enjoy both light and humorous reads or dark and gritty.
No young-adult novels, please. I really did not enjoy Twilight, Vampire Diaries, and all of that. I mostly enjoy my romances hot and steamy, although I do go into those phases where I prefer the cheesy but sweet type.
I don't particularly like Sagas, but I do prefer series than to stand-alone novels. Please give me some recommendations. I'm starting to become really desperate!
